Saddle Horse Report Welcomes Morgan King

Saddle Horse Report is thrilled to welcome Morgan King to its team of professionals. A lifelong equestrian and accomplished sales and marketing professional, King brings a wealth of industry knowledge and creative expertise to our publications. Having competed nationally since 2003 with her beloved Saddlebreds, King’s passion for the sport runs deep, making this return to equestrian media feel like coming home. And, it's only fitting that she would own a Morgan - she's equally excited to have added one to her show string for the 2025 season... double the fun!

With experience in publishing, marketing, and photography, King has worked closely with owners, trainers, and industry professionals to showcase stories that make this community so special. After time spent expanding her marketing expertise, King is excited to once again focus on sharing the achievements, events, and people that define the American Saddlebred, Hackney, and Morgan worlds.

“We are so excited to have Morgan join our sales team. Her combination of professionalism, passion and enthusiasm are tremendous assets, and I’m thrilled to see her expanding that passion into the Morgan breed to supplement her strong knowledge of the Saddlebred industry. Please join us in welcoming Morgan back to the industry we all love!” said Publisher Christy Howard Womack.

“Morgan is a great addition to our team,” added Executive Editor Bob Funkhouser. “Her experience, professionalism and love of the horse fit perfectly with our team and our goal of bringing the industry the most well-rounded coverage week after week.”
